Directions for putting an image in your wiki page
- Click the edit button on your page.
- Click on the ‘File’ button on the task bar.
- You will need to click on the ‘External Image’ tab.
- Go up to the top of your computer and minimize the screen.
- You can now go to any search engine and find an image. Remember, you need to have an image with a URL address.
- Once you have found your image, go up to the address bar, put the cursor on the address and left click, from the mouse, on it to make it blue.
- After it is blue, right click, from the mouse, and a box will appear. Left click on the word ‘copy’. The box will disappear.
- You may now minimize this screen and the next screen.
- Go down to the bottom of your computer screen and click on your wiki to bring it back up.
- Left click in the box to put the cursor there then, right click to bring that little box back. Left click on the word ‘paste’ and the URL of your image will appear in the box.
- Click on the button “Load”, and your image will appear right there on that screen. Remember, it will be very small, but you are not done.
- Double click on the image and it will be on your wiki page, ready for you to adjust to the right size.
